Moda Operandi & NITA SURI FW 2018

Championing an expertly curated selection of current items from both established and emerging designers, Moda Operandi offers instant gratification for those looking for a powerful hit of high-end luxury.

In September 2017, Moda Operandi and NitaSuri launched an exclusive collaboration with their one-of-a-kind “Moda Operandi x NitaSuri” trunkshow.

Moda Operandi was launched in 2011 and offers its customers the ideal solution to a first-world problem of the highest order: it allows buyers to shop from unique “trunk shows” immediately after every runway show and months ahead of the collection release. That way, clients can get access to the runway looks right after every fashion show and will not have to wait until the official release; it is the only online retailer to invite clients to preorder the next-season’s looks straight from the runway.

The sense of exclusivity offered by Moda Operandi goes hand-in-hand with what NitaSuri wants to offer its customers: the highest quality possible with the most outstanding designs right at their fingertips. Moda Operandi is considered one of the top Luxury E-commerce Retailers in the US with an array of high-end designers such as 3.1 Phillip Lim, Balenciaga, J.W. Adnerson, Burberry, Loewe, Jimmy Choo

To celebrate the collaboration with Moda Operandi, NitaSuri introduced the exclusive Pastel Pink Lia and Pilo models last summer.

Now, Moda Operandi is going to initiate another exclusive launch with NITA SURI 2018 FW  COLLECTION.

This time, the newest NitaSuri collections will be on display: the “Margarita” Collection and the “Flower” Collection. To each collection, basic principles from the world of architecture and design are applied. Each NITASURI bag is a one-of-a-kind architectural piece which has an exceptional personality that makes it such a luxurious and eye-catching piece.

Flower Collection:

Not only the first collection but also the second one was inspired by another of Gaudí’s principal architectural creations and one of Barcelona’s main landmarks: Parque Güell. This park is full of small details which leaves every single visitor speechless; there’s an infinite array of colour-combination and figures to be discovered within the park. With its origin laying back in 1900, it has lived through big changes in the city of Barcelona but has yet remained intact and equally impactful to its visitors.

The park has always served as a sign for modernism and dynamism and with its salient features of art nouveau, it stood and still stands for the cosmopolitan spirit of Barcelona and its international architectural features. Montse found her specific inspiration for the second collection in the flowers that can be seen in one of the main benches inside the park. The perfect round circle with its delicate and exquisite lines are a reflection of the modernity and love for details the whole park holds.

Margarita Collection:

Gaudí’s Sagrada Familia also served as a major inspiration for the third NitaSuri collection. But this time it was not the building’s outside look that inspired Montse Freixes, but rather the inside of the largest unfinished Roman Catholic church in the world.

Specifically inspirational were the massive rosettes that can be found all around the building. Strongly reminding her of huge “margarita” flowers, she wanted to somehow incorporate these into her third collection. Through these flowers she attempted to fill NitaSuri with fresh air and more life, creating a unique combination of natural elements and architectural inspirations which together led her to create this absolutely creative and unique collection.
